This study addresses the cultural transmission processes through digital environments in teaching Turkish. In the study, the existing literature was analyzed with the document analysis method and the role of digital platforms in learning and transferring cultural values was evaluated. In addition, other data sources consist of the opinions obtained from 10 Turkish teachers and 30 pre-service Turkish teachers (students) with the semi-structured interview method. The data obtained from the interview forms were examined with the content analysis method, code categories and themes were extracted, and quotations from the participants' opinions were presented while the findings were conveyed, thus the content analysis was also supported by descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that digital environments are a powerful tool in cultural transmission. In addition, it was concluded that the reliability of the content, the development of students' conscious and competence on digital literacy skills and increased academic supervision are necessary.
